Email Error Log

The Email Error Log lists the errors generated when CAIRS tries to authenticate or communicate with the SMTP server or SMTP recipient. The Email Error Log details the following:

Error Date – displays the date the error occurred.

Subject – attempted email’s subject line.

Error Message* – error returned by SMTP server.

Attachment Count– number of email attachments.

To view the details of a specific error:

  1. Double click the error message. The Email Log Detail window opens.
  2. The email error details display.
